Lesson plans, the latest ideas, and important administrative information are all accessible quickly and accurately in schools across Timor-Leste thanks to the national tablet rollout.
As we mark International Day for Universal Access to Information, EBF 1.2 Bemetan, Administrative Post Same Villa, Manufahi Municipality, Coordinator Francisco Pereira says connected tablets have had a major effect on how schools operate.
“Today, all the information about lesson plans is there on the tablets. There’s so much more information available just by clicking. We have found this exchange of information to be very helpful and much quicker than the old ways.”
Australia, through the Partnership for Human Development, has provided more than 1100 tablets to 600 schools across 11 municipalities as part of its ALMA program, ensuring unprecedented access to information for the children of Timor-Leste.
