Australian General Admits the Greatness of the Indonesian Navy’s National Armed Forces
RIAU,( BIDIKDUNIA.COM)-“This is the first experience for the Australian Armed Forces in joint training with Marines of the Indonesian National Army Navylearn and cooperate with Indonesian troops”.
This was disclosed by Lieutenant General Greg Bilton – the Chief of Joint Operations of the Australian Armed Forces, after the implementation of the Joint Exercise between the Indonesian Navy and the Australian Defense Force in the name of the Ausindo Amphibious Assault Exercise exercise Last Sunday at Todak Dabo Singkep Beach, Riau Archipelago.
This exercise is part of the Indonesia -Pacific Endeavor training program organized by the Royal Australian Navy together with the navies of countries in the Indonesia -Pacific region since 2017, one of which is the Indonesian Navy. In its implementation this year, the Indonesia -Pacific Endeavor concept was developed by involving the Royal Australian Army with the main training material being Amphibious Assault, codenamed “Ausindo Amphibious Assault Exercise”
In the scenario, Todak Dabo Singkep Beach has been controlled by the enemy, namely the red (fictitious) country, while the Blue country played by Indonesia and Australia carried out an amphibious assault, and what was special was that the attack was led directly by the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral Indonesian National Army Yudo Margono and witnessed by the Indonesian National Army Commander General Indonesian National Army Andika Perkasa, involving marine elements from the two countries, Marines from the Indonesian Navy and the Australian Army as landing troops, as well as the Indonesian Air Force.
“This activity is a fairly strong foundation for bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the future. This is a great way to build bilateral relations that are very beneficial for both countries,” said Lieutenant General Greg Bilton.
This joint exercise between Indonesia and Australia is one of the enhancements to the diplomatic role of the Navy as a priority program for Indonesian Armed Forces Chief Admiral Yudo Margono in realizing security stability in the region.
