Pangdam I/BB Together with Gubsu and Consul General of Malaysia Held Bicycle Diplomacy in Two Countriem
MEDAN,(BIDIKDUNIA.COM] – The Military Commander I/BB, Major General of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Achmad Daniel Chardin, and the Governor, Lieutenant General of the Indonesian Armed Forces (Ret.) Edy Rahmayadi and the Malaysian Consul General in Medan, Aiyub Omar held Bicycle Diplomacy with routes around Medan City, North Sumatra , Sunday.
This ride, which involved no less than 650 participants, was an initiative of the Malaysian Consul General to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two allied countries, which have been in harmony since 1957.
Pangdam I/BB on the sidelines of the activity expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this bicycling sport activity in Indonesia-Malaysia.
“Hopefully, through this cycling sport, the cooperative relations between the two neighboring countries, which have been well established so far, will be closer and more harmonious,” said Pangdam I/BB.
Meanwhile, Kapendam I/BB, Lt. Col. Inf. Rico Julyanto Siagian added, the Gowes activity between the two Indonesia-Malaysia countries is also an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Indonesian and Malaysian citizens in the field.
